On 6 Oct 1821, James J. Dozier sold a part of Shepherdsville lot #25 to Edward McDade who sold it to Richard P. Simmons.
Simmons' heirs would later sell the ground to Henry J. Craycroft. Craycroft would later sell it to Wesley Phelps. Phelps then sold the tract to Joseph Collier. This was the northernmost 40 feet of lot 25. Collier next sold the lot and house to Harriet Travis, as shown below. Harriet's heirs would later sell it to Sarah J. Ridgway.

This indenture made and entered into this 11th day of March 1871 between Joseph Collier and Theresa his wife, parties of the first part, and Harriet Travis, party of the second part, all of county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky.
Witnesseth that the parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of $625, of which $300 has been paid cash in hand, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the balance to be paid as follows: $150 in six months, and $175 in 12 months from this date for which deferred payments the second party has this day executed her notes and to secure which a lien is hereby retained on the land here sold, do hereby bargain, sell and by these presents convey unto the second party the following property situated in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, viz. one house and lot situated on Main Street between the lot formerly owned by Malinda Samuels dec'd and the jail lot, and the lot herein conveyed and being the same lot purchased by the said Joseph Collier of Wesley Phelps and recorded in Deed Book R, page 354, and the same on which I now live, together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging with general warranty.
To have and to hold the said described property to her the said Harriet Travis, her heirs and assigns forever by this general warranty deed. The first parties hereby obligate themselves to give possession of said property to the second party on or before the 25 day of March 1870.
