On 6 Oct 1821, James J. Dozier sold a part of Shepherdsville lot #25 to Edward McDade who sold it to Richard P. Simmons.
Simmons' heirs would later sell the ground to Henry J. Craycroft. Craycroft would later sell it to Wesley Phelps, as shown below. This was the northernmost 40 feet of lot 25. Phelps then sold the tract to Joseph Collier.

This indenture and deed of conveyance entered into this 23rd August 1866 between H. J. Craycroft of the County of Jefferson, State of Kentucky, of the first part, and Wesley Phelps of the County of Bullitt and same state of the second part.
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of $200 in hand paid, the party of the first part has bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain, sell and convey unto the party of the second part the house and lot in the town of Shepherdsville lying between the lot now owned by Mrs. Malinda Samuels opposite the Bullitt House and the jail lot, being separated from the jail by an alley, being the same conveyed to the party of the first part by R. N. Simmons' heirs, their deed of record in the office of the Bullitt County Court is referred to for greater certainty.
To have and to hold the said house and lot unto the said part of the second part and his heirs with special warranty against the party of the first part, his heirs &c, but against the claim of no other persons. In testimony whereof the grantor has hereto set hand the day and year above written. (signed) H. J. Craycroft
