On 20 Jan 1872, John L. O'Brian sold 10 acres adjoining Shepherdsville to W. W. Zazio. Zazio then sold half of it to David M. Bates on 10 Mar 1879. Bates sold that five acres to Joseph F. Birkhead on 1 Sep 1879, and he sold it to J. W. Tucker on 4 Mar 1885. J. W. Tucker sold this five acre tract to Martha Bunting on 25 May 1889. Then on 6 Feb 1901, Martha A. Bunting, Mack H. Maraman, and Lizzie E. Maraman sold it to William Troutwine. It was located just south of the Bullitt's Lick Road and east of present-day Abbott Street in Shepherdsville.

This indenture made an entered into this 25th day of May 1889 by and between J. W. Tucker of the first part and Martha, A Bunting of the second part, all of Bullitt County Kentucky.
Witnesseth that the party of the first part for an in consideration of the sum of $350 cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has sold and conveyed, and by these presence doth sell and convey to the party of the second part the following described land lying in Bullitt County, Kentucky and adjoining the Kalfus property on the east, the land of G. W. Simmons and Mrs. W. A. Isaacs on the south, the lands from the Bullitt Lick Road to G. W. Simmons on the west, and the public dirt road known as the Bullitt Lick Road on the north containing five acres, more or less; being the same land conveyed by H. F. Kalfus &c to J. W. Tucker on May 24th 1889, and said deed is recorded in office of clerk of Bullitt County Court.
To have and to hold to the party of the second part, her heirs and assigns forever with covenant of general warranty, said first party to give second party possession of said property September 1, 1889.
