J. W. Tucker sold this five acre tract to Martha Bunting on 25 May 1889. Then on 6 Feb 1901, Martha A. Bunting, Mack H. Maraman, and Lizzie E. Maraman sold it to William Troutwine. It was located just south of the Bullitt's Lick Road and east of present-day Abbott Street in Shepherdsville.
This excerpt from a Shepherdsville plat (1897) shows this 5 acre tract labeled with Mack Maraman's name. It lay south of Bullitt's Lick Road (now Fourth Street or Highway 44 West), and east of West Street which is now named Abbott Street. The dividing line between this tract and the one labeled "J. F. Combs / Kalfus property" is the current location of Plum Street.
