On 7 Jun 1808, William De Rohan sold Shepherdsville Lot 43 (new plan) to William Graham. Graham then sold it to Henry Oldham on 18 Jul 1808. Oldham next sold it to Nathan Miles Jr. on 21 Nov 1821. Miles next sold it to John Williams on 13 Sep 1823, as shown below.

This indenture made this 13th day of September 1823 between Nathan Miles and Rhoda his wife of the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky of the one part and John Williams of the same county and state of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said Nathan Miles and Rhoda his wife for and in consideration of the sum of $100 current money to them in hand paid before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold, aliened, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell, alien, release, convey and confirm unto the said John Williams, his heirs &c forever a certain lot or parcel of land containing half an acre, situate, lying and being in said county and being in and a part of the town of Shepherdsville, and known and designated in the old plan of said town by the number 16, and in the new plan thereof by the number 43, and being the same lot which was conveyed to the said Nathan Miles by Henry Oldham and wife by deed bearing date the 21st day of November 1821, and recorded in the clerk's office of the county court of Bullitt County, reference being thereto had wil more fully appear.
To have and to hold the said lot of ground with all its appurtenances to him the said John Williams, his heirs &c forever and clear of and from all right and title of dower or other encumbrances, and to his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof, and the said Nathan Miles and Rhoda his wife for themselves and their heirs &c do covenant, agree to and with the said John Williams, his heirs &c that they will and their heirs shall warrant and forever defend the said lot of land and appurtenances to him the said John Williams, his heirs &c from themselves and their heirs, and all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same.
In testimony whereof the said Nathan Miles and Rhoda his wife have hereto set their hands and affixed their seals on the day and year first before written.
