William De Rohan to William Graham - Shepherdsville Lot 43

On 7 Jun 1808, William De Rohan sold Shepherdsville Lot 43 (new plan) to William Graham, as shown below. Graham then sold it to Henry Oldham.

This indenture made the seventh day of June in the year of our Lord 1808 between William De Rohan of the county of Washington and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part and William Graham of the county of Bullitt and Commonwealth aforesaid of the other part.

Witnesseth that the said William De Rohan for and in consideration of the sum sixty dollars current money of the United States of America to him in hand paid before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, he hath granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents doth give, grant, bargain and sell, alien, release, convey and confirm unto the said William Graham, his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the county of Bullitt aforesaid, and in the town of Shepherdsville containing one-half acre more or less known in the plan of the said town by Number 15 and bounded as follows.

Northwardly by Second Street, southwardly by an alley running between Second Street and Walnut Street, westwardly by an alley running between Main Street and Walnut Street, and eastwardly by lot No. 16, which lot No. 16 corners on Walnut Street and Second Street.

To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said William Graham, his heirs and assigns, to his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof forever, adn the said William De Rohan for himself, his executors and administrators doth covenant, promise and agree to and with the said William Graham, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns that he will forever warrant and defend the said tract or parcel of land with all and singular the appurtenances unto the said William Graham, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns against him the said William De Rohan, his heir, executors and administrators, and the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever.
