Louisa, William & George Nusz to Andrew Gild - Shepherdsville Lots 49-50-51

Following the deaths of John Nusz and his wife Philibina of cholera on 4 Jul 1854, these town lots descended to their five children equally. Louisa, William and George jointly sold their shares to Andrew Gild in March 1868 (shown below); Mary sold her share to Andrew in January 1872; and Andrew purchased Holbart's share in February 1874.

This indenture entered into this 2nd day of March 1868 between Jacob Hertlauf and Louise his wife, formerly Nusz, of the city of Louisville, William B. Nusz and George R. Nusz, three of five heirs of John Nusz, dec'd, of the first part and Andrew Gild of the second part.

Witnesseth that the said first parties in consideration of $50 to each of them paid and to be paid as follows: $50 in hand paid to Jacob Hertlauf and wife, the receipt of which they hereby acknowledge, and $50 in hand paid to William B. Nusz, and the receipt of which he hereby acknowledges, and $50 to be paid to George R. Nusz as soon as he arrives at the age of 21 years and signs this deed.

They the first parties here, by bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the second party, his heirs &c their undivided interest in the following realty, to-wit. Lot No. 51 and house, and lots 49-50 in the town of Shepherdsville, bullitt County, Kentucky and described on the new plan as aforesaid 49-50-51, and being the same lots 49 & 50 purchased of R. F. Samuels and wife by deed dated 29 March 1847, Deed Book L, page 90, and lot No. 51 purchased by John Nusz of Richard Fell and wife by deed dated 22nd September 1846, Deed Book L, page 1, which are referred to, the individual interest of each being one-fifth of said three lots aforesaid.

To have, and to hold, said undivided interest in said lots against the claims of all persons by this deed of general warranty, each party warranting to the extent of his or her interest. Witness the hands of the grantors this day and date first written.
