Andon Gild to Connell Sisters- Shepherdsville Lots 49-50-51

Following the deaths of John Nusz and his wife Philibina of cholera on 4 Jul 1854, these town lots descended to their five children equally. Louisa, William and George jointly sold their shares to Andon Gild in March 1868; Mary sold her share to Andon in January 1872; and Andon purchased Holbart's share in February 1874. Andon & Mary sold these lots to A. O. Russell on 22 Dec 1876. However Russell was unable to make his payments, and had to sell it back to Gild later. Then in 1880, Gild mortgaged the lots to John Rennision, but was able to pay the mortgage off. Andon and Mary Gild finallly sold the lot to Mary Kate and Flora Mae Connell in 1887 as shown below.


Bullitt County Deed Book 26, Pages 211-212

This deed made this the 23rd of March 1887 by Andon Gild and Mary A. Gild his wife of Bullitt County, Kentucky, party of the first part to Mary Kate Connell and Flora Mae Connell of Louisville, Kentucky, party of the second part.

Witnesseth that in consideration of $300 cash in hand, its receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, party of the first part have bargained and sold and here do hereby grant and convey unto the party of the second part, their heirs and assigns a certain piece of town property in Shepherdsville, Kentucky and fronting on Water Street and known on the new plat as lots numbers 49, 50 and 51, and being in the same property bought by said first party from John Nusz's heirs. The first deed from Heitlauf and wife and W. B. Nusz and George R. Nusz, recorded in Deed Book R, page 400, Bullitt County Clerk's office, and said first party bought the other two Nusz heirs out as they became of age, Mary Nusz and Albert Nusz, and got deeds from both of them, and same are of record in the Bullitt County Clerk's office.

To have and to hold the property hereby conveyed with the house and all improvements unto said second party, their heirs and assigns forever with covenant of general warranty.
