James and Martha Bunting sold this tract to A. H. Field, as shown below. It appears from this deed that Martha Bunting had obtained the tract in a land swap with Henry J. Craycroft, although we do not have a written deed for that exchange.
Field then sold it to Susan J. Anderson who sold it to R. J. Meyler. Meyler sold this lot to Frank P. Straus in 1881. Straus sold it to the Troutman Bros in 1899, as shown below on this plat from the T. C. Carroll collection.

This indenture made and entered into this 2nd day of April 1866 by and between James W. Bunting and Martha A. Bunting of the first part, and A. H. Field of the second part.
Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of $750, $300 of which amount is in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and the note of the said party of the second part, for $450 payable 12 months from the 7th day of February 1866 with interest, have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns the following property in the town of Shepherdsville being part of lot No. 25 and the whole of lot No. 26 fronting on Second Street.
Beginning at a point opposite to and in front of where the shop occupied by McKay and Crist joins the store house of E. H. McCormick running, thence with Second Street to Doctor's Alley, thence with Doctor's Alley to alley next to jail at corner of stable, thence with the alley by jail to the corner of lot now occupied by Joseph Collier - with his line, Mrs. Samuel's land and McCormick's land to the beginning, including house office and all the buildings thereon, being the same property formerly owned by H. J. Craycroft and which the said Martha A. Bunting traded property for that descended to her from her father T. J. Bowman.
To have and to hold the above described premises to him the said party of the second part and to his heirs forever by this deed of fee simple with general warranty. Witness the hands of the said parties of the first part this day and year above written.
