Shepherdsville lot 52 (new plan) was first sold to William Graham on 1 Apr 1814, a lot he apparently already lived on. A month later he sold it to John W. Beckwith and William F. Smith. Then on 10 Sep 1814, Smith deeded his share to Beckwith. On 29 Jan 1827, in exchange for their assuming his debt, Beckwith deeded both a 500 acre tract north of Shepherdsville and lot 52 in Shepherdsville to Solomon Neill and Frederic W. S. Grayson. Following Grayson's death, the two tracts were deeded to Solomon Neill as shown below.

This indenture made this 15th of April 1829 between James D. Breckenridge as executor of Frederic W. S. Grayson dec'd and Sally Grayson, widow of said Frederic, of the first part, and Solomon Neill of the second part.
Witnesseth that the parties of the first part for and in consideration of the payment by the party of the second part of a judgment and execution of the Federal Court of Kentucky in the name of the Bank of the United States against John W. Beckwith, Fred W. S. Grayson and Solomon, Neill, the two latter as the security to the former, amounting, including costs &c to about the sum of $2970 end of the payment to the Bank of the United States of the further sum of $100 in full of a judgment of the Jefferson Circuit Court in the name of the Bank against said executors for about the sum of $490 exclusive of interest and cost in which said Grayson with David L. Ward was security to said Beckwith, the parties of the first part have bargained, sold and released to the party of the second part all their right, title, interest and estate derived to the said James, executor by mortgage from said Beckwith to Grayson under date 3rd August 1824, and by deed from said Beckwith and wife to said Grayson & Neill recorded in the Bullitt County Court clerk's office, and to the said Sarah by divise from said Frederick or for dower, two tracts or parcels of land situate, lying and being in the County of Bullitt, Kentucky; the one tract containing 500 acres or thereabouts conveyed by Solomon Neill, executor of Joseph Brooks, to said John W. Beckwith, James Prior and Frederic W. S. Grayson, and who the said Frederic and James have sold and agreed to convey their interests therein to said John W. Beckwith.
The other tract of land being a house and lot in Shepherdsville where George F. Pope resided on the 3rd August 1824, conveyed by William Grayham to said Beckwith & William F. Smith who conveyed his interest therein to said Beckwith.
To hve and to hold the said two tracts or parcels of land with their appurtenances free from the estate of the said Frederic W. S. Grayson and the said Sarah to the said Solomon Neill, his heirs and assigns; and the said executor and the said Sarah do by these presents warrant and defend the said tracts of land to the said Neill, his heirs and assigns against all persons claiming the same from, by, through or under them, but not against any other person whatever; it being the true intent and meaning of the party of the first part to relese to the said Neill whatever interest or claim they or either of them may have to the said parcels of land without any recourse to them in any event whatever.
