William Jones bought this lot on 22 Apr 1816 from the trustees, and then sold it to George L. Robards on 20 Apr 1819. Robards sold the lot to Mary Welch on 20 Dec 1819.
At some point the lot came into the possession of William Welch as guardian of William Welch Jr. William Sr. was likely Mary's father. Then 1 Feb 1829, he leased the lot and its contents to George F. Pope in exchange for Pope making significant improvements as described in the lease deed.

This indenture made this 20th day of December 1819 between George L. Robards and Nancy his wife of Bullitt County and state of Kentucky of the one part and Mary Welsh of the same county and state of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said George L. Robards and Nancy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of $825 to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargin and sell unto the said Mary Welch and her heirs forever a certain lot or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the town of Shepherdsville and known by its number in the first plan of said town 69, and in the new plan thereof 36, being the same lot which the said Robards purchased from William Jones.
To have and to hold the said lot of land, numbered as aforesaid, together with all and singular the advantages and improvements thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the said Mary Welsh and her heirs forever, to and for her and their only proper use, benefit and behoof, and the said George L. Robards and Nancy his wife for themselves and their heirs do covenant, promise and agree to and with the said Mary Welsh and her heirs that they the said Robards and wife will and their heirs shall forever warrant and defend the before described lot of land and the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto her the said Mary Welsh and her heirs forever, free from the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatever. In witness whereof the said George F. Robards and Nancy his wife have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year before written.
