On 28 Apr 1821, Benjamin Summers sold a part of Shepherdsville lot 56 to Richard P. Simmons which included a strip across the lot from Main Street west to the alley, and extended northward a bit over 33 feet, and lay south of a lot Summers sold to Nathan and Walter B. Miles. We are not yet certain how Summers obtained this ground.
