Following James Halbert's death, his widow sold 2 Shepherdsville lots to Matthew Wilson on 3 Feb 1827. That deed also transfers ownership of one acre lying north of Third Street between Plumb Street and the Shawler acre plot. Wilson sold this one acre tract to Jonathan Gore Jr. on 19 Dec 1827, as shown below.

This indenture made this 19th day of December 1827 between Matthew Willson and Martha T. Willson his wife of the County of Bullitt and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part and Jonathan Gore Jr. of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Matthew Willson and wife for and in consideration of the sum of $90 current money of the United States to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Gore and his heirs and assigns the following described tract or lots of land, to wit, one acre of ground adjoining the town of Shepherdsville and bounded as follows, to wit.
Beginning at the southeast [southwest] corner of the one acre lot belonging to the heirs of Jacob Shawler deceased, thence westwardly the course of the town lots to a point opposite the east side of Plumb Street when extended, thence northwardly the course of the town lots to a corner of the lot of ten acres conveyed by James Halbert to Henry Jones, thence eastwardly the course of the town sets to the northwest corner of said Shawler's lot, thence with a line of the same to the beginning, being the same lot which was the 3rd day of February 1827 conveyed by Margaret Halbert, administratrix with the will annexed of James Halbert deceased to said Willson by deed duly recorded in the clerk's office of the County Court of Bullitt County, reference being thereto had will more fully appear. Also a certain parcel of ground conveyed by Isaac Twyman to said Matthew Willson by deed bearing date the 21st February 1827 and recorded in the same office and bounded as follows, to wit.
Beginning at the southwest corner of Henry F. Kalfus' lot, thence westwardly the course of the town lots 218 feet, 10 inches to a stake on the eastside of Plumb Street when extended, thence North 6 1/2° West 90 feet to the beginning.
And whereas Adam Shepherd conveyed to Frederick Penebaker two acres of ground which covered in part the ground hereby conveyed, and said two acres has been conveyed by said Penebaker to Robert F. Samuels and Noah C. Summers and said Samuels has conveyed his interest therein to the said Noah C. Summers as he with his wife have conveyed the same to the said Matthew Willson who has sold that part of said two acres which lies outside of the lines of the lots conveyed to said Willson by the said Halbert and Twyman, but is to convey his right, title and interest to the said Gore Jr. without warranty or responsibility on his part. To have and to hold the said two first mentioned lots of land and appurtenancesunto him the said Jonathan Gore Jr., his heirs &c free and clear of and from all right and title of dower or other encumbrance and to his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof forever; and the said Matthew Willson and Martha T. Willson his wife do covenant and agree to and with the said Jonathan Gore Jr., his heirs &c that they will and their heirs shall warrant and forever defend the said two first mentioned lots of land and appurtenances unto him the said Jonathan Gore Jr. from themselves and all persons claiming or to claim the same, and the said Matthew Willson and Martha T. his wife do hereby release and relinquish to the said Jonathan Gore Jr., his heirs &c without warranty and liability or responsibility on their part all their right, title, interest, and claim to that part of the two acres of ground conveyed by the said Noah C. Summers and wife as aforesaid which lies outside of the lines of the lots conveyed by Halbert and Twyman as aforesaid. In testimony whereof the said Matthew Willson and Martha T. his wife hereto set their hands and seals on the day and year before written.
