Bullitt County History

Thomas Q. Willson & Rufus K. Summers to Richard P. Simmons
Shepherdsville Lot 54

Shepherdsville lot 54 had originally been purchased by Edward Frye in 1797. He next sold it to John L. Summers of Maryland in 1800. At some point it came into the possession of John B. Summers who sold it to Lewis Willcoxen. Willcoxen would later sell the lot to Thomas Q. Willson. Willson, in an arrangement with Rufus K. Summers, sold the lot to Richard P. Simmons as shown below.

Simmons would continue to own the lot until his death. It was sold by his heirs to George W. Miles in 1857.
