John Graham was the first to purchase Shepherdsville lots 11 and 12. He sold them to Nicholas Simmons in 1826. Simmons would later sell them to Noah C. Summers. Summers then sold it to Robert F. Samuels.

This indenture made this 22nd day of January in the year of our Lord, 1828 between Nicholas Simmons of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County and state of Kentucky of the first part and Noah C. Summers of the same place of the other part.
Witness that the sad Nicholas Simmons, for and in consideration of the sum of $600 current money of the United States to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted. bargained and sold, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell and confirm unto the said Noah C. Summers two 1/2 acre lots of ground in the town of Shepherdsville and known in the new plan of said town by their number is 11 and 12, and the former old plan of said town by numbers 31 and 32, being the same lots of ground sold and conveyed to said Nicholas Simmons by John Graham and Elizabeth C. Graham, his wife by deed of record dated 18th April 1826.
To have and to hold the said two lots of land and appurtenances unto him, the said Noah C. Summers, and to his heirs and assigns forever, and the said Nicholas Simmons for himself, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns does covenant and agree to and with the said Noah C. Summers that he will and his heirs shall warrant and defend the said two lots of land and appurtenances to him the said Noah C. Summers, and to his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of himself and those claiming under him, and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof the said Nicholas Simmons has hereunto set his hand and seal this day and date above written. (signed) Nicholas Simmons
