On 15 Aug 1828, Sydney S. Alexander, by a quit claim deed, sold his title to lots 41 and 42 to Jonathan Gore Jr. On 16 Nov 1830, Gore sold the southern part of lot 42 to George W. Jenkins. Then, on 20 Nov 1832, he sold the rest of lot No. 42 to Wilford Lee.

This indenture made this 16th day of November in the year of our Lord 1830 between Jonathan Gore of the County of Nelson and State of Kentucky of the one part, and George W. Jenkins of Bullitt County and State aforesaid of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said Jonathan Gore for and in consideration of the sum of $200 current money of the United States to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, he the said Gore has sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Jenkins, his heirs and assigns forever the following described property, to-wit, one half of lot number 42 in the new plan of the town of Shepherdsville lying on the back and southern part of said lot including the stable on said lot, said lot fronts Main Cross Street 99'5" and goes back on Doctor's Alley 198'11", and the part here sold lies on the alley on the southern part of said lot and comes up Doctor's Alley 99'5" and goes along the alley on the southern part of the lot the same distance together will all and singular the premises thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To have and to hold the part of the lot here conveyed with its appurtenances to the said George W. Jenkins and his heirs forever. And the said Jonathan Gore for himself and his heirs covenants to and with the said George W. Jenkins and his heirs that he will and his heirs shall warrant and forever defend the lot of land and appurtenances aforesaid to him said Jenkins and his heirs forever against the claim of himself the said Gore and his heirs and assigns, and the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever. In witness whereof the said Gore has hereunto set his hand and seal this day and date aforesaid. (signed) Jonathan Gore Jr.
