On 30 Aug 1827, George F. Pope, as commissioner, deeded Shepherdsville town lot 27 and part of lot 28 to Matthew Wilson. Wilson sold the part of Lot 28 and the brick house on it to Richard Simcoe as trustee for Henrietta Oldham, daughter of Dr. H. Oldham, as shown below.
Henrietta Wilson, born 22 Apr 1828, daughter of Henry and Eliza Oldham, died of consumption on 17 Oct 1852. She was buried in the Old City Cemetery in Shepherdsville.
She had married the lawyer William Wilson on 27 May 1847, and they had two children, Henry Turner Wilson, born 7 Apr 1848, and Mary who was born 17 Jul 1850, but died 13 Jan 1853, and is buried alongside her mother.
The brick house sat on the southwest corner of Lot 28, and this deed divides the lot, giving to William and Henrietta Wilson the western slice the width of the brick house. The remainder of the lot to the east was allotted to R. B. Simcoe, M. L. B. Simcoe his wife, Henry W. Simcoe, James P. Oldham and John W. Oldham, heirs of Samuel Oldham.
On 6 Nov 1850, John W. Oldham sold his share of Lot 28 to Henrietta Wilson.

This indenture made and entered into this the 11th day of October 1847 between William Wilson and Henrietta E. Wilson his wife of Bullitt County, Ky., of the one part and Richard B. Simcoe and Maria Louisa B. Simcoe his wife, and Henry W. Simcoe of the same place, and James P. Oldham and John W. Oldham of Jefferson County and state aforesaid of the second part.
Whereas the said William Wilson and Henrietta E. Wilson his wife, R. B. Simcoe and Maria L. B. Simcoe his wife, Henry W. Simcoe, James P. Oldham and John W. Oldham now stand seized in fee simple as tenants in common and as cestui que trust of and in a certain lot of ground situated in the town of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Ky., and laid down in the plan of said town as Lot No. 28, and bounded on the south in front by 2nd Street, and on the north by an alley separating it from Lot No. 12; now this indenture.
Witnesseth that the parties to these presents have agreed to make the following just partitions of said Lot No. 28: that is to say: That the said William Wilson and Henrietta E. Wilson his wife, and the heirs of said Henrietta and the said William shall have all that piece or allotment of said Lot No. 28 beginning at the northeast corner of a little brick house standing on said lot and belonging to said Henrietta, thence to run in a northerly direction in a straight line from said corner to the alley separating said lot from Lot No. 12, thence westerly with said alley to the northeast corner of lot No. 27, thence in a southerly course with the eastern boundary line of lot No. 27 to the northwest corner of said little brick house, thence in an easterly direction to the beginning and containing __ of an acre, be the same more or less, together with the messuages, edifices, buildings and improvements on said described piece of land, and all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To hold and enjoy the same unto the said William Wilson and Henrietta E. Wilson his wife, their heirs and assigns forever in severalty as their full part, share and dividend of and in the lot No. 28 aforesaid..
And the said R. B. Simcoe and Maria Louise B. Simcoe his wife, and Henry W. Simcoe, and James P. Oldham, and John W. Oldham do by these presents, for themselves and their heirs, give, grant and allot and assign and set over, release and confirm unto the said William Wilson and the said Henrietta his wife, their heirs and assigns forever, the said described allotment of land or trust estate, with the appurtenances.
To have and to hold to them and to their heirs and assigns, the said part of said trust estate to their only proper use and behoof forever in severalty, and the said Richard B. Simcoe and Maria Louisa B. Simcoe his wife, Henry W. Simcoe, James P. Oldham and John W. Oldham, and their heirs and assigns shall have all the rest and residue of said lot No. 28, the said trust estate, together with all the messuages, edifices, buildings and improvements, hereditiments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the reversions, remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof.
To have and to hold the said residue of said lot and appurtenances unto the said Richard B. Simcoe and Maria Louisa B. Simcoe his wife, Henry W. Simcoe, James P. Oldham and John W. Oldham, their heirs and assigns forever in severalty as their full part, share and dividend in and to the said turst estate lot No. 28. And the said William Wilson and Henrietta E. Wilson his wife do by these presents for them and their heirs, give, grant, allot, assign, set over, release and confirm unto the said R. B. Simcoe, M. L. B. Simcoe his wife, Henry W. Simcoe, James P. Oldham and John W. Oldham, and to their heirs and assigns forever the said residue of said trust estate lot No. 28 with the appurtenances. To have and to hold to them and to their heirs and assigns forever in severalty. In witness whereof the said parties have all hereunto set their hands and seals, dated the day and year above written.
