Whereas I purchased for town taxes at sales in Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky, lots Nos. 35 and 36, and since that time Thomas W. Riley has acquired title thereto, and now holds same; now for and in consideration of one dollar to me paid by Ephraim K. Willson of Louisiana, have sold and do by these presents release, sell and convey to said Thomas W. Riley my title and claim to said lots, and warrant the same to said Riley against me and my heirs only by this deed of quit claim only without any responsibility on me in any event whatever for title, being a mere quit claim deed without recourse in any event. Said lots are in Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky; August 22nd 1842. (signed) E. K. Willson
