Charles R. Samuels to Edward H. McCormick - Shepherdsville Lots 37-38

Theodocia Purcell had purchased these two lots from Thomas Gore in 1854. Now, in according with the wishes of her will, her executor William Wilson sold the two Shepherdsville lots (#37-38) to Charles R. Samuels on 29 Jan 1859. Samuels and his wife would sell the lots to Edward H. McCormick on 17 Feb 1865 as shown below.

For and in consideration of the sum of $500 cash in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, we Charles R. Samuels and Mary E. Samuels his wife have this day granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto Edward H. McCormick and his heirs and assigns forever with covenant of general warranty two certain house and lot in the town of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky, and being the same purchased by the said Samuels of Theodocia Purcell's executor by deed dated 29th day of January 1859 and recorded in Deed Book O, page 434 which is referred to for particulars.
