According to an earlier deed, Adam Shepherd had been paid for this lot by Thomas Stansbury without a deed being issued to him. Shepherd acknowledged the purchase and directed the trustees to issue a deed for this lot to Hannah Allender Robinson, an heir of Stansbury. Later, in 1830, Hannah's husband James Robinson sold the lot to William Lee for five dollars as shown below

This indenture made this 7th day of October 1830 between James Robinson of the one part and William Lee of the County of Bullitt and state aforesaid of the other part.
Witness that for and in consideration of the sum of $5 to him in hand paid by said Lee, the said Robinson has bargained and sold and by these presents does bargain and sell unto the said Lee a certain lot of ground lying and being in the town of Shepherdsville known and designated on the plat of said town by its number 32 in the new plat of said town containing one-half acre.
And the said Robinson does for himself and his heirs covenant with the said Lee that he will forever warrant and defend the title to the said lot of land to him the said Lee and his heirs forever free and clear of and from him the said Robinson, and all other persons claiming or to claim the same in any manner whatever. In testimony whereof the said Robinson has hereto set his hands and affixed his seal the day and date above written.
