The Shepherdsville Trustees deeded lot 16 to Joshua Stansbury in 1818. Then in 1828, the town tax collector sold it for taxes to Rufus K. Summers. It appears from the deed shown below that in 1830 Stansbury commissioned James Robinson to sell his title to the lot to William Lee for five dollars.
