Alban S. Purdy to Benjamin & Richard Deats
Shepherdsville Lots 60-61 & Part of 59

On 19 Mar 1838, Rufus K. Summers sold lots 60 and 61 to Preston N. Hornbeck, and also 25 feet of lot 59. The deed was complicated as he held Frederic G. Alexander's bond for the 25 feet of lot 59, and Benjamin Summers' bond for two-thirds of lot 60 which he was transferring to Hornbeck.

Later, Hornbeck mortgaged the lots to John Anderson, and following Hornbeck's death, the Circuit Court ordered the sale of the lots to pay the mortgage, and Anderson purchased the lots at this sale from Samuel Hornbeck, only heir of Preston.

Anderson sold the lots to Alban S. Purdy on 6 Jun 1850. Purdy sold the lots to Benjamin F. Deats and Richard W. Deats on 16 Sep 1852, as shown below. Then on 1 Oct 1853, Benjamin Deats sold his share of the lots to Richard Deats.
