Children of J. H. Wright & Samuel Carrothers to Ellen Wright - One-half Acre

On 19 Sep 1872, Ellen Wright and James C. Wright together leased a tract of their land to Samuel Carrothers who was operating a distillery on the land. This appears, from this deed, to be "a strip of 1/2 acre of ground, part of a tract of 350 acres of land in Bullitt County, Kentucky, conveyed by William Polk to James and Joseph H. Wright, said strip fronting on the west side of the turnpike 420 feet and running back 55 feet at one end and 50 feet at the other."
