John Graham was the first to purchase Shepherdsville lots 11 and 12. He sold them to Nicholas Simmons in 1826. Simmons would later sell them to Noah C. Summers.

This indenture made and entered into this 18th day of April 1826 between John Graham and Elizabeth C. Graham, his wife of the one part and Nicholas Simmons of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said John Graham and Elizabeth, his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of $450 current money of the United States to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Nicholas Simmons two 1/2 acre lots lying and being in the town of Shepherdsville and known in the new plan thereof by their numbers 11 and 12 and the former old plan of said town by their numbers, 31 and 32.
To have and to hold the said lots of ground with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Nicholas Simmons, his heirs and assigns against the claim of the said John Graham, and wife and their heirs, and all persons claiming by, through or under them, and against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons claiming the same.
In witness whereof the said John Graham and Elizabeth C. Graham his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the date first written. (signed by grantors)
