On 28 Feb 1852, Jenus White of Cooper County, Missouri sold his part of Shepherdsville lot #37 to Thomas S. Gore who would later sell it to Theodocia Purcell.

This indenture made and entered into this 28th February 1852 by and between Jenus White and Mary White his wife of the state of Missouri and County of Cooper of the first part and Thomas S. Gore of the State of Kentucky and County of Bullitt of the second part.
Witnesseth that the said Jenus White and Mary his wife for and in consideration of hte sum of $50 for which the said Gore has executed his note due 12 months after date, then the said Jenus White and Mary his wife and their heirs and assigns have granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Thomas S. Gore and to his heirs and assigns forever a certain lot or parcel of ground in the new plan of the town of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky and the same conveyed by Halbert's heirs to Wilford Lee by deed, see deed book G, page 482, and part of lot No. 37 in said plan and town fronting on Second street and corners on Plumb Steet of said town with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining.
To have and to hold the said lot No. 37 and its appurtenances unto him the said Thomas S. Gore and to his heirs and assigns forever, and the said Jenus White convenants and agrees to and with the said Thomas S. Gore that he the said White and wife and their heirs, executors and administrators shall warrant and defend the said part of lot No. 37 and appurtenances unto him the said Thomas S. Gore and to his heirs and assigns against the claims of all persons whatsoever by this deed in fee simple with general warranty. A lien is hereby retained upon said lot and appurtenances until the purchase money is paid. In witness whereof the said White and wife hereto set their hands and seals the day and year first written.
