In 1847 the Shepherdsville Trustees deeded lot #90 to John Chaddic Sr. as shown below.

This indenture made this 22nd day of September 1847 between Robert F. Samuels, Lorenzo Hogland, Ambrose Ratcliffe, Frederick Travis, and Samuel N. Smith, trustees of the town of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky of the one part and John Chaddic Sr. of the county and state aforesaid of the other part.
Witnesseth that whereas the trustees of said town agreeably to an act of assembly and an order of the board of trustees for that purpose, sold on the 1 December 1827 part of Third Street divided into lots and numbered on the plan of said town for that purpose, and Richard P. Simmons became the purchaser of lot No. 90 for $3.31 1/4 and said Simmons by his transfer files assigned his purchase to Zachariah Terrell, and said Terrell assigned said bond to said John Chaddic Sr., and said purchase money having been paid and the said Chaddic deserving a deed.
In consideration of the premises, the sale, payment of the purchase money &c as aforesaid, the trustees of the said town of Shepherdsville have sold and conveyed and by these presents do sell, convey and confirm unto the said John Chaddic Sr. the said lot No. 90 (ninety) in the new plan of said town as taken off of Third Street and numbers as aforesaid, with its appurtenances.
To have and to hold said lot and appurtenances to him said John Chaddic Sr. and to his heirs forever against the claim of said trustees and their successors in office, and all others as fully as by law the said trustees as each can sell and convey and warrant title, without individual responsibility. Witness the hands and seals of the trustees the date aforesaid. (signed by trustees)
