Troutman Bros Division

On 16 Apr 1900, Henry Frank Troutman deeded one-third of a tract of ground in Shepherdsville to each of his two brothers, Robert Levi Troutman and Charles Fillmore Troutman to show a three-way joint ownership of the business known as Troutman Bros.

The lot began at the southeast corner of Main and Second Streets on the public square, then south 39 feet, then east parallel with Second Street 32 feet, then south 11 feet, then east parallel with Second Street to Doctor's Alley, then with the alley north to Second Street, then with Second Street west to the beginning.

The museum, along with its research room, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday appointments are available by calling 502-921-0161 during our regular weekday hours. Admission is free. The museum, as part of the Bullitt County Genealogical Society, is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization and is classified as a 509(a)2 public charity.
