Barker sold the lots to William Standiford 21 Jan 1833.

Whereas the Legislature of the State of Kentucky by an act passed on the 11th day of December 1793 vested 50 acres of land lying on the north side of Salt River at the falls of said river in Nacy Brashear, Samuel Crow, Michael Troutman, Frederic Pennybaker, Benjamin Stansbury, Joseph Brooks and John Essary as trustees for the purpose of laying off a town in pursuance of which the trustees laid out the town of Shepherdsville and made out and returned a plan thereof by which they made Third Street 80 feet wide; and whereas also the successor of said trustees had a resurvey of said town and made out a new plan thereof by which the said Third Street was reduced to 40 feet wide, leaving to the trustees a strip of 40 feet wide on the north side of said town, which plan and acts of the said trustees were confirmed by an Act of Assembly passed on the 15th day of January 1811; and whereas also since the act aforesaid on the 20th day of November 1827 the successor of the trustees aforesaid by an order directed the said strip to be laid off into lots and numbered and sold to the highest bidder for the benefit of the trustees, which order was on the first day of December 1827 carried into effect, and Brooky Barker purchased Lot No. 85 at the price of $12, and Richard P. Simmons purchased Lot No. 86 and transferred the collector's certificate therefore to Jonathan Gore who transferred the same to the said Brooky Barker who is now the holder thereof.
Now this indenture made this 30th day of June in the year of our Lord 1830 between George W. Jenkins, Rufus K. Summers, William Congrove, Matthew Wilson and Thomas Q. Willson, trustees of the said town of Shepherdsville, of the one part and the said Brooky Barker of the other part. Witnesseth that four and inconsideration of the premises they said trustees have bargained and sold and by these presence do sell and convey unto the said Barker the said lots numbered 85 and 86 in the town of Shepherdsville as aforesaid. To have and to hold the said lots with the appurtenances thereto belonging unto him the said Brooky Barker, his heirs &c forever; and the said Trustees for themselves and their successors in office do hereby covenant that they will and their successors shall forever warrant and defend the said lots against themselves and all and every person or persons whatever. In testimony whereof the said trustees have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals day and date aforesaid. (signed by trustees)
