On 27 Jun 1797, the Shepherdsville Trustees deeded 2 lots to John Moore which would later be designated as lots 62 and 77 in the new plan of Shepherdsville, but which were identified as lots 47 and 49 in the old plan.
Moore would later sell the 2 lots to Elizabeth Styles.

This indenture made this 27th day of June 1797 between Nacy Brashear, Samuel Crow, Michael Troutman, Frederick Pennybaker, Benjamin Stansbury, Joseph Brooks and John Essary, trustees of the town of Shepherdsville of the one part, and John Moore of Saltsburgh of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said trustees in virtue of the power vested in them by an act of the general assembly passed the 11th day of December 1793 entitled "An Act for Establishing a Town on the Land of Adam Shepherd in the County of Jefferson," and also for and in consideration of the sum of 28 pounds, eight shillings paid to the said Adam Shepherd. Agreeable to the direction of the said act have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said John Moore two certain lots of ground in the said town known in the plan thereof by numbers 47 and 49.
To have to hold the said lots together with all and every of the appurtenances thereon and thereunto belonging unto the said John Moore, his heirs and assigns forever, subject, nevertheless to the conditions expressed in the aforesaid act of the general assembly. And the trustees unto the said John Moore, his heirs and assigns, do hereby warrant and forever defend the aforesaid lots of land from the claim of all and every person or persons whatsoever.
And further, the trustees aforesaid do hereby promise and agree to and with the said John Moore that they will at any time hereafter at the cost and charges in the law of him that said John Moore make to suffice or cause to be made done and suffice any further deed or deeds or other writing which he or his counsel learned in the law may advise, devise or require for the better securing the aforesaid bargained and sold lots unto him the said John Moore, his heirs and assigns forever.
In witness whereof the said trustees have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first written.
