On 24 Mar 1832, William Welch sold 103 acres on Knob Creek to R. F. Samuels who then, on 15 Apr 1833 sold the land to Isaac Smith as shown below.

This indenture made this 15th day of April 1833 between Robert F. Samuels of the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky of the one part and Isaac Smith of the same county and state of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said Robert F. Samuels, for and in consideration of the sum of $200 to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold, and do by these presents, grant, bargain and sell unto the said Isaac Smith, his heirs and assigns forever, a certain tract or parcel of land, situate, lying, and being in the county of Bullitt on Knob Creek and adjoining said Smith containing 193 1/4 acres more or less, being the same tract of land conveyed by William Welch to said Samuels by deed bearing date the 24th day of March 1832, recorded in the clerks office of the Bullitt County Court.
To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all and singular the appurtenances there unto belonging or in anyway, appertaining unto the said Isaac Smith, his heirs and assigns, free and clear from the said Robert F. Samuels, his heirs and assigns, but from the claim or claims of no other person whatsoever, except William Welch; it being understood that should the land be lost in anyway whatever said Samuels is not accountable to said Smith for anything.
