This indenture made this 24th day of March 1832 between William Welch now of Bullitt County, Kentucky of the one part and Robert F. Samuels of the same county of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said William Welch for and in consideration of the sum of $73.89 current money to him in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell and confirm to the said Robert F. Samuels, his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being on Knob Creek containing 103 1/4 acres, being the same tract of land on which said Welch lately lived and part of John Riley's 7000 and odd acre survey, be the same more or less.
To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land and appurtenances unto the said Robert F. Samuels, his heirs and assigns forever free and clear of the said William Welch and his heirs and assigns, and of and from the claim of all other persons whatsoever. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 24th day of March 1832. (signed) William Welch
