On 27 Jul 1895, Judge William T. Morrow purchased this Shepherdsville lot from George and Pearl (Rickerson) Lee. He then sold it to the trustees of the Church of Christ on 25 Apr 1898.

For and in consideration of the sum of $200 cash in hand paid, I W. T. Morrow, bachelor, have this day sold, bargained and conveyed unto G. W. Simmons, W. J. Maraman, A. W. Meredith and J. B. Monroe, trustees for and on behalf of hte church called and by the appellation of the Church of Christ at Shepherdsville, Kentucky the following described property, situate and being in the town of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky, bounded as follows.
Beginning at a stake 60 feet north of the Baptist Church lot, corner to William Williams' heirs on a line of Main Street extended, thence running north about 100 feet to the corner of William A. Shafer's lot, thence with his line east about 210 feet to Doctor's Alley extended, thence with in a line of said alley extended south about 100 feet to a point 60 feet north of said Baptist Church lot, corner to William Williams' heirs, thence with his line west about 210 feet to the beginning.
To have and to hold the same together with all the appurtenances thereto belonging to the said trustees as aforesaid and their successors in office forever, with covenant of general warranty.
