On 27 Jul 1895, Judge William T. Morrow purchased this Shepherdsville lot on which he built his new home. It was purchased from George and Pearl (Rickerson) Lee.

This indenture, made and entered into this the 27th day of July 1895 by and between George C. Lee and his wife Pearl Lee of Henry County, Kentucky, of the first part, and W. T. Morrow of Bullitt County, Kentucky, of the second part.
Witnesseth that the said party of the first part in consideration of $185 cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby sell, grant and convey to the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, the following described property, viz: situated and being in the town of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky, bounded as follows.
Beginning at a stake 60 feet north of the Baptist church lot, corner to William Williams' heirs on a line of Main Street extended, thence running north about 100 feet to the corner of William A. Shafer (Col.) lot, thence with his line east about 210 feet to Doctor's Alley extended, thence in a line of said alley extended south about 100 feet to a point 60 feet north of said Baptist church lot, corner to William Williams' heirs, thence with his line west about 210 feet to the beginning.
To have and to hold the same, with all the appurtenances thereon, to the second party, his heirs and assigns forever, with convenant of "General Warranty."
