On 7 Jan 1811, Henry Crist sold 134 1/4 acres of land to Joseph Hedges which lay on the east side of his Cedar Creek holdings. On 8 Oct 1835, four of the heirs of Joseph Hedges, deceased, sold their share of his tract of land to Martin Bodine, as shown below.

This indenture made this 8th day of October 1835 between William Chidsey and Eliza his wife, James Wright and Fanny his wife, Samuel Hedges and __ his wife, John Hedges and __ his wife of the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky of the one part, and Martin Bodine of the county and date aforesaid of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said William Chidsey and Elisa his wife, and James Wright and Fanny his wife, Samuel Hedges and John Hedges for and in consideration of the sum of $40 in hand paid to each of them, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell unto the said Martin Bodine, his heirs and assigns forever their several interests as the legal heirs and representatives of Joseph Hedges dec'd in and to 134 1/4 acres of land lying in the county and state aforesaid on the waters of Cedar Creek, be the same more or less, and adjoining the land of Cosby Crenshaw and H. Crist sold and conveyed by H. Crist &c to Joseph Hedges and bounded as follows.
Beginning at a dogwood and red oak, thence North 50° East 80 poles to a red oak, thence North 40° West 244 poles to a stake, thence South 50° West 88 poles to a red oak, thence South 40° East 244 poles to the beginning.
To have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with appurtenances unto the said Martin Bodine, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said William Chidsey and Eliza his wife, James Wright and Fanny his wife, Samuel Hedges and John Hedges for themselves, their heirs or assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever doth and will forever warrant and defend. And Whereas Wesley Hedges, one of the heirs of Joseph Hedges, prior to his death sold his interest unto the said Martin Bodine for the sum of $40 at the same time not being 21 years of age yet, each of us wishing that justice may be done, hereby convey unto the said Martin Bodine all the right, title and interest we have in the land sold unto Martin Bodinen by Wesley Hedges, it being one-eighth part of the tract heretofore named in the deed. In witness whereof the said William Chidsey and Eliza his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower, James Wright and Fanny his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower, Samuel Hedges and __ his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower, John Hodges and __ his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower in and to the lands hereby conveyed in this deed hath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and date first above written.
