On 7 Jan 1811, Henry Crist sold 134 1/4 acres of land to Joseph Hedges which lay on the east side of his Cedar Creek holdings. Hedges' heirs would later sell the land to Martin Bodine, first from four of the heirs, and second from W. B. Hamilton who had obtained ownership from the remaining Hedges' heirs.
