By 17 Jan 1820, James Halbert had control of Shepherdsville lot 37, for on that day he sold the southern part of the lot to Joseph Huston as shown below. Huston would later sell it to Abraham Field.

This indenture made this 17th day of January 1820 between James Halbert and Margaret his wife of the one part and Joseph Huston of the other part.
Witness that the said James Halbert for and in consideration of the sum of $20 current money to him in hand paid by the said Huston, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, hath granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain, and sell unto the said Joseph Huston and his heirs forever a certain part of lot in 37, being the most southerly part thereof in the new plan of Shepherdsville and all that part of said lot which said Halbert supposed to contain 32 feet on the course of Main Street and 99 feet, 5 inches back to Plumb Street and 32 feet over way and 99 feet 5 inches the other way as described, be the same more or less, together with all the appurtenance to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To have and to hold said part of lot No. 37 with its appurtenances to the said Huston and his heirs forever to and for his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof forever; and the said James Halbert and Margaret his wife for themselves and their heirs doth covenant and agree to and with the said Huston and his heirs that the before described lot or parcel of land and appurtenances be and they will forever warrant and defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said James Halbert and Margaret his wife hath here unto set their hands and seals the day and year aforesaid.
