For and in consideration of the sum eight dollars cash in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge, we George W. Simmons and Margaret E. Simmons his wife do sell and convey unto Robert F. Samuels and his heirs and assigns forever by this their deed of quit claim two certain fractions of lots in the new plan of the town of Shepherdsville and known as fractions of lots Nos. 91 and 92, and being the same lots purchased by the said George W. Simmons under a decree of Bullitt Circuit Court in the name of Vachel Weldin, guardian for Elisha W. Simmons' heirs. Witness our hands this 16th day of September 1859. (signed) George W. Admission is free. The museum, as part of the Bullitt County Genealogical Society, is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization and is classified as a 509(a)2 public charity.
