On 2 Nov 1827, Benjamin Summers sold part of Shepherdsville Lot 57 to Jonathan Gore Jr. It included the storehouse formerly occupied by John W. & Upton Beckwith. The next day Gore sold it to Joseph W. Caldwell in exchange for some cabinet work.

Know all men by these presents that we Jonathan Gore Jr. and Mariah his wife are held and firmly bound unto Joseph W. Caldwell in the full and just sum of $600 to which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs &c firmly by these presents, sealed with our seal and dated this 3rd day of November 1827.
Whereas the above bound Jonathan Gore Jr. has sold unto the said Joseph W. Caldwell for the consideration of $350 payable in cabinet work in four, eight, twelve and fifteen months from this date after paying a part in hand, a certain part of a lot in the town of Shepherdsville known on the plan of said town by the number 57, being the same part of said lot which is to be conveyed by Benjamin Summers and wife to said Gore Jr. and which was in the occupancy of John W. and U. Beckwith.
Now if the said Jonathan Gore Jr. and Mariah his wife shall well and truly convey to the said Joseph W. Caldwell, his heirs &c the before described piece of ground and appurtenances whenever the last payment is made, then the above obligation to be void, else to remain in full force and virtue in law. The said Jonathan Gore Jr. gives to the said Caldwell immediate possession of the premises. (signed) Jonathan Gore Jr., Mariah Gore.
