John Gaither to Michael Troutman - 500 Acres

On 27 Jul 1804, John and Mary Gaither sold their 500 acre tract to Michael Troutman. It was located on the south side of Salt River just upstream from the mouth of Floyd's Fork. This was the same tract that Ben Pope had surveyed for Gaither on 7 Jul 1789, based on a treasury warrant originally issued to John Fristoe.
