On 6 Jun 1815, Samuel Crow, as attorney for Basil Crow, sold 175.5 acres of land along Crooked Creek to John Kitchen. Then on 25 Oct 1815, Samuel and Elizabeth Crow appear to have sold the same tract of land to John Kitchen, as shown below, who then sold the land to Wilford Lee three days later on 28 Oct 1815.

This indenture made this 25th day of October in the year of our Lord 1815, between Samuel Crow and Elizabeth his wife of Bullitt County and state of Kentucky of the one part and John Kitchen of the same county and state of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said Samuel and Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of $135 current money of said state to them in hand paid by the said Kitchen, the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge, have bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said John Kitchen, his heirs and assigns forever, the following tract or parcel of land lying and being in said county of Bullitt on Crooked Creek and its waters, which land is bounded as followeth, viz.
Beginning at William Shain's corner of poplar and white oak, thence with his line N 5° W 259 poles to a white oak, thence N 25° E 48 poles to a white oak and beech, thence N 76° E 48 poles to two white oaks, thence S 10° E 11 poles to Collin's corner of two white oaks and poplar, and the course continued with Collin's and Purcell's line in all 310 poles to Simmons' corner of two beeches, thence with Simmons' line S 85° W 110 poles to the beginning containing by survey 175 1/2 acres, be te same more or less, and being the same tract of land which was conveyed by deed to the said Samuel from Henry Younger and wife on the 18th day of September 1811, duly recorded in the clerk's office of Bullitt County.
To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all the appurtenance thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said John Kitchen, his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof forever. And the said Samuel Crow and Elizabeth his wife do covenant and agree with the said John Kitchen and his heirs and assigns that the premises hereby bargained and sold now are and forever shall be and remain free and clear of and from all right and title of dower or other encumbrances whatever. And that they the said Samuel Crow and Elizabeth his wife will and their heirs, executors and administrators shall warrant and defend forever the said tract or parcel of land with all the appurtenances unto the said John Kitchen, his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons whatever lawfully claiming or to claim the same by this from and under them or any of them.
