Samuel Crow purchased this lot from Adam Shepherd. Then he sold it to James Halbert on 13 Apr 1818.

This indenture made this 13th day of April 1818 between Samuel Crow of Bullitt County and state of Kentucky of the one part and James Halbert of the same county and state of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said Samuel Crow, for and in consideration of the sum $20 current money of said state to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, hath granted, bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell unto the said James Halbert and his heirs forever a certain half-acre lot in the town of Shepherdsville known by its number in the new plan thereof, six, and one of the same lots which was on the 2nd day of August 1814 conveyed to the said Crow by the trustees of Shepherdsville and duly recorded in the clerk's office of the Bullitt County Court.
To have and to hold the said lot or parcel of land, number six as aforesaid, together with all the appurtenances to the same belonging unto the said James Halbert and his heirs, to and fore his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof forever.
And the said Samuel Crow, for himself and his heirs doth covenant, promise and agree to and with the said James Halbert and his heirs &c that the before discussed lot number six and appurtenance he will and his heirs shall forever warrant and defend to him the said James Halbert and his heirs against the claim or claims of all other persons whatsoever. In witness whereof the said Samuel Crow hath set his hand and seal the day and year first above mentioned.
