William T. Yeatman to Benjamin Summers - Multiple Tracts

On 14 May 1835, William T. Yeatman, son of the late Martha (Patsy) Beckwith Yeatman, sold his share of his grandfather John Beckwith's estate to Benjamin Summers. The deed is shown below.

This indenture made this 14th day of May 1835 between William T. Yeatman, only son and heirs of Patsy Yeatman, dec'd, a daughter of John Beckwith, dec'd, of one part and Benjamin Summers of the county of Bullitt and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Yeatman for and in consideration of the sum of $372 current money of the United States to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell and confirm unto him the said Benjamin Summers all his said Yeatman's interest and title of in and to the following real estate and tracts of land of which said John Beckwith died seized viz. lying principally in Bullitt County and in Hardin County viz. 352 acres together with 40 acres adjoining the same, called the home place in Bullitt, the same whereon said John Beckwith dec'd died conveyed to said Beckwith by Henry Crist and Robert McClelland for 352 acres and George Reed for 40 acres, reference to the deeds of record in Bullitt County court office will particularly specify the boundaries; also 100 acres purchased by said John Beckwith of Seth B. Thornberry, reference is had to the deed of record in Bullitt County Court for the boundary. Also 250 acres in Hardin County purchased by said Beckwith at Sheriff's sale of Adam Shepherd's property. Be the same more or less in any and all of said tracts, and whereas since the death of said John Beckwith dec'd, his son John W. Beckwith released and conveyed to the other children and heirs of said John Beckwith his interest to and title in and to said lands aforesaid, whatever and all the interests I acquired to said tracts of land under said deed from said John W. Beckwith of record in Bullitt County court office I do for the consideration aforesaid sell and convey to him the said Benjamin Summers. To have and to hold said tracts of land and appurtenances to him the said Benjamin Summers and his heirs forever from me and my heirs and against the claim of all others claiming by from through or under me, but not against any other claim.
