In this deed, Walter Warfield, husband of Sarah Christian, rented their part of the Bullitt's Lick tract to Henry Crist for a period of seven years, as shown below.

This indenture made this 17th day of March 1811 between Walter Warfield, father & natural guardian of Annie H. Warfield, Charles Warfield & William Warfield of the one part and Henry Crist of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Walter Warfield, guardian as aforesaid, for and in consideration of the payment of the yearly rent and performance of the covenants, agreements and considerations herein after mentioned by the said Henry Crist, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, to be paid, kept and performed he the said Walter Warfield hath demused leased & to the said Crist let and by these presents doth demise, lease & to him let and to his heirs etc. one undvided fifth part of a tenement situate in the county of Bullitt called Bullitt's old lick, being one undivided fifth part of the wells, sheds, houses and lands within the following boundary, viz.
Beginning at the north west corner of William Christian's military survey of 1000 acres, running thence eastwardly with the north boundary line of said survey so far that a line at right angles southwardly will leave the place where the big house built by James A. Sturgus at said lick stood one hundred & fifty poles west of said line, course continued so far that a line at right angles westwardly and to the western boundary line of said survey will leave said place 150 poles north of said line, thence with the western boundary line of said survey to the Beginning.
To have and to hold the said one undivided fifth part thereof with the appurtenances to the said Henry Crist, his heirs etc., and during the term of seven years fully to be complete and ended from and after the date of these presents, yielding & paying therefor yearly and every year during the continuance of this lease the quantity of two hundred bushels of good merchantable salt in barrels, delivered in the town of Shepherdsville in the county of Bullitt, the rent for the first year to be pair on the first day of March 1812, and the like quantity of two hundred bushels of like salt in like manner on the first day of each succeeding March during the continuance of this lease, and the said Henry Crist for himself, his heirs etc. doth covenant and agree with the said Walter Warfield, guardian as aforesaid that he the said Crist, his heirs etc. will well & truly pay and content him the said Warfield the said yearly rent of two hundred bushels salt in manner aforesaid on the several days before mentioned, that the said Crist will not commit or suffer to be committed on the demised premises during said term any kind of waste or destruction of timber or of any lasting or valuable improvement that now or may be made during said term provided also and it is further to be understood and these presents are upon this condition nevertheless that if the said yearly rent of two hundred bushels of salt is not paid in manner aforesaid or if the said Crist, his heirs etc. shall not perform the convenants and undertakings on his part it shall and may be lawful for the said Walter Warfield or other guardian, his agent or attorney unto the said one fifth part of the said tenement or unto any part thereof in the name of the whole to reenter and the same to hold retain & repossess and the said Crist & other occupyers thereof to eject, expel and remove and that from such reentry made this present lease and everything therein contained on the lessor's part to be done and performed shall cease & determine.
