James Shepherd deeded this one acre lot to the school district on 5 Jul 1887. Based on his deed from W. P. Johnson [Deed Book N, page 45], it was likely the lot where the Bullitt's Lick school was located as shown on this excerpt from a 1925 map. The deed is transcribed below.

This indenture made and entered into this the 5th day of July 1887 by and between James Shepherd of the first part and C. Q. Shepherd, R. C. Shepherd and William J. Phelps, trustees of Common School district No. 5 in Bullitt County, Kentucky, and their successors in office of the second part.
Witnesseth that the first party, for and in consideration of the surrender to him of the land wherever the old school house stood in said district hereby grants, bargains and sells to the second parties and their successors in office the following boundary of land for common school purposes situated in Bullitt County, Kentucky and bounded as follows.
Beginning at two pines, the southeast corner of the lot, thence northeast 70 yards to a pine and sourwood, northeast corner of said lot, thence northeast 70 yards to one white oak, thence southwest 70 yards to a stone, thence southeastward 70 yards to the beginning, containing about one acre, being a part of the tract of land bought by the first party of W. P. Johnson.
To have and to hold the same to the second parties, their successors in office, but it is expressly understood that if the said land should be abandoned and ceased to be used for common school purposes then the same is to revert to the first party, his heirs or assigns.
