This indenture made and entered into this 22nd day of September 1845 between Robert F. Samuels and Malinda, his wife of the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky of the one part and Richard Fell of the same county and state of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said Samuels and wife, for and in consideration of $300 cash in hand paid, have granted, bargained and sold unto the said Richard Fell a certain lot of ground lying and being in the town of Shepherdsville and known and designated by its number 51 in the new plan of said town.
To have and to hold the said lot number 51 with all the appurtenances, thereto belonging unto the said Richard Fell, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Robert F. Samuels and Malinda his wife do hereby warrant and defend the title of said lot and appurtenances unto the said Fell, his heirs and assigns, against the claim of all persons who may claim the same.
