On 31 Mar 1868, Rev. Rogers deeded 20 acres along Cedar Creek in northern Bullitt County to his daughter Cynthia Ball, as shown below.

In the name of God, amen. Having a wish to give something more to my daughter Cynthia Ball and her children. I do hereby will and bequeath to her and the natural offspring of her natural body, the following described lot or parcel of land, lying, and being in Bullitt County, Kentucky on Sanders' Run, a branch of Cedar Creek, bounded as follows.
Beginning at a stone on the east side of the old road leading from Louisville to Shepherdsville and at the corner of Ball's garden, thence South 80° West 10 poles to a white oak and honey locust on the east bank of Sanders' Run, thence down the same with its meanders South 17° East 22 poles, South 14° E 22 1/5 poles to two leaning sycamores on the east bank Sanders' Run below the mouth of a small stream, thence up the same stream North 67 1/4° East 40 poles to a stone, North 77 1/4° East 24.8 poles to a chinquapin oak at the fence of Mrs. L. C. Summers, thence North 15°20' West 53 poles to a stone in said line as a corner of this lot of land, thence from the beginning at the corner of Ball's garden at the old road South 82° East 15 1/2 poles to a stone, South 6° West 9 poles to a black walnut on the south side of the drain, North 66° East 16 3/4 poles to a small white oak, North 42 1/4° East 6 1/2 poles to an elm, North 65 1/4° East 19 poles to a stone as a corner in Mrs. L. C. Summers' line, south of a drain that runs along this line westward containing about twenty acres more or less, and one and one-half acres is to come out of this as belonging to the brick church, it having been given to said church by Benjamin Summers.
I do hereby will and bequeath to my daughter Cynthia Ball and to the offspring of her body the above described lot of land with all the appurtenances thereon. To have and to hold as their own forever, and taht this with what I have heretofore given her is her full portion of my estate, and she will have no more claim under any circumstance whatever on my estate as witness my hand and seal this 31st day of March 1868.
