Nicholas Simmons to Henry Clay Crist - Shepherdsville Lots 63-64

At some point, Nicholas Simmons obtained Shepherdsville lots 63-64. Then on 4 Nov 1863 he sold his title to them to Henry Clay Crist, as shown below.

For and in consideration of the sum of $150 secured by note payable five years after date with interest from date at 6%, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, Nicholas Simmons and Elizabeth Simmons his wife, both of the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky have this day bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain, sell and convey unto H. Clay Crist, his heirs and assigns all of their right and title to two lots of land No. 63 & 64 with the house and appurtenances thereto annexed in the town of Shepherdsville, Kentucky. To have and to hold the same, the parties of the first part warrant and defend the title to the same forever. Given under their hands Nov. 4th 1863. (signed) N. Admission is free. The museum, as part of the Bullitt County Genealogical Society, is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization and is classified as a 509(a)2 public charity.
