Julia Murray to Robert F. Samuels - Part of Shepherdsville Lot 23

On 20 Apr 1848, Julia Murray, executrix and devisee of Joseph R. Murray, sold part of Shepherdsville lot 23 to Robert F. Samuels as shown below.

This indenture made an entered into this 20th day of April 1848 between Julia Murray executrix and devisee of Joseph R Murray, deceased of the one part, and Robert F Samuels of the other part.

Witness that the said Julia Murray, for and in consideration of the sum of $45 paid, she said Julia Murray has sold and conveyed, and does by these presents sell, convey and confirm unto the said Robert F. Samuels and his heirs and assigns forever the following part of lot number 23 in the new plan of Shepherdsville, being 39'5" front on the southwest corner of said lot number 23 and running back on the line of the alley 73 feet, being that part of lot number 23 not conveyed by the said Julia Murray to John J. Thompson as per deed dated 18 September 1847.

To have and to hold the same to the said Samuels, his heirs and assigns against the claim of the said, Julia Murray, and against the claim or claims of all persons claiming or to claim the same. In witness whereof the said Julia Murray hereto sets her hand the day and date first written. (signed) Julia Murray
