On 15 Jun 1899, W. C. and Nora Morrison, and Lizzie and W. C. Herps jointly sold a lot in the Oxley's Addition to Shepherdsville to Mallie Gaither, wife of Hillory Gaither, who paid $35 cash. The lot was described as beginning at a stone on the south side of Depot Street, being South 30 1/2° East 66 feet from a stone, southeast corner to a lot conveyed to Frank Mace, then South 10 1/2° West 110 feet to a stone in line of an alley, then with the alley South 79 1/2° East 40 feet to a stone, then North 10 1/2° East 110 feet to the south line of Depot Street at a stone, then with Depot Street 40 feet to the beginning. This was part of the ground that the two couples had purchased from B. F. Oxley, recorded in Deed Book 32, page 435.
