On 14 May 1903, William Campbell purchased the northern half of lots 66 and 67 in the B. F. Oxley Addition to Shepherdsville from W. C. Morrison, Nora Morrison his wife, W. C. Herps and Lizzie Herps his wife. Campbell would later purchase the southern half of these lots from C. P. Bradbury.

This indenture made and entered into by and between W. C. Morrison, Nora Morrison his wife, W. C. Herps and Lizzie Herps his wife, parties of the first part and W. B. Campbell, party of the second part.
Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of $150 of which sum $25 is cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and for the remaining sum of $125 the said second party has executed his promissory note of even date herewith due three months afte date bearing 6% per annum interest from date until paid and payable to W. C. Morrison and Lizzie Herps, hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth hereby sell and convey unto the said W. B. Campbell, his heirs and assigns forever with covenant of general warranty the following described real estate situated in the town of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky, viz.
The undivided northern one half portion of lots number 66 and 67 of B. F. Oxley's Addition to said town, the same fronting 55 feet on Railroad Street and running back to the line of lot No. 68, being a part of the same property conveyed to the said first parties by B. F. Oxley by deed recorded in Deed Book 32, page 435 in the office of the clerk of the Bullitt County Court.
A lien is hereby retained on the property herein conveyed to secure the payment of deferred purchase money note. In testimony whereof, witness the signatures of the grantors this 14th day of May 1903.
